Queens High School for the Sciences (QHSS) is a New York City public specialized high school operated by the New York City Department of Education (NYCDOE) that specializes in cultivating talent in the fields of mathematics and science. It admits students based on their performance on the Specialized High Schools Admissions Test (SHSAT) and is the only specialized high school serving the borough of Queens.
