Housing

The housing market in Flower Mound is highly competitive and upscale. The majority of the housing stock consists of large, single-family detached homes in master-planned subdivisions. Average home prices typically range from $600,000 to well over $1 million, reflecting the town's desirability, quality of schools, and large lot sizes.

In recent years, the town has diversified its housing portfolio by integrating luxury apartments, townhomes, and condominiums, particularly in mixed-use developments like Lakeside DFW and The River Walk at Central Park. Despite this, affordable or low-income housing options remain very limited, and the barrier to entry for homeownership is high.
