Agriculture

Historically, Addison was a thriving agricultural community characterized by dairy farming, grain production, and quiet country groves. However, during the post-World War II housing and industrial boom, the village was completely suburbanized.

Today, there is no commercial agriculture or farming industry within the village limits. The land is entirely dedicated to residential, commercial, industrial, and recreational uses. Some small-scale community gardens exist, but agriculture as an economic driver is purely a part of the village's past.
