Transportation is the defining element of College Park. It contains portions of Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, providing unmatched global connectivity.
For local transit, the city is served by the Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA). The College Park MARTA Station is one of the busiest in the system, serving as the terminus for numerous regional bus routes and providing direct heavy rail access to downtown Atlanta.
Major roadways crisscross the city, including Interstates 85 and 285, Camp Creek Parkway, and Roosevelt Highway (US 29). Additionally, the ATL SkyTrain—an automated people mover—connects the airport directly to the GICC, Gateway Center Arena, and the regional rental car center in College Park.
