Chattahoochee Hills experiences a humid subtropical climate (Köppen climate classification *Cfa*), typical of the American South.

Summers are hot and humid, with average high temperatures in the upper 80s to low 90s (°F), and frequent afternoon thunderstorms providing much of the area's summer rainfall. Winters are generally short and mild, with highs in the 50s and overnight lows occasionally dropping below freezing.

Annual rainfall averages around 50 inches, evenly distributed throughout the year. Snowfall is rare, typically occurring only once or twice a year with minimal accumulation. The best times to visit are during the spring (April to May) and autumn (September to November), when the weather is mild, humidity is low, and the natural foliage is at its peak.
