Transportation

Chattahoochee Hills is heavily car-dependent, as preserving the rural landscape has meant avoiding dense transportation infrastructure. The primary corridors are the South Fulton Parkway and Cascade Palmetto Highway (State Route 154), which provide vital links to Atlanta and the interstate system.

There is no public transit (such as MARTA rail or bus service) operating within the city limits. However, within the Serenbe community, alternative transportation is king; the neighborhood is designed to be highly walkable, and residents frequently use golf carts and bicycles. The city is also renowned among cyclists for its miles of scenic, low-traffic country roads. For air travel, residents benefit from exceptional proximity to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, located just about 25 minutes away.
