How to build a profile on SocialPulse.com and promote it using Facebook and Twitter.

1. Register a www.Facebook.com account (personal is ok) and ‘Be a Fan’ of SocialPulse (on facebook)
2. Register a www.Twitter.com account. – a short name is good like Twitter.com/tomvell
3. Register an account on SocialPulse membership http://www.socialpulse.com/friends/index.php?mode=join
4. Find existing profiles using the ‘Search’ Button
5. Find interesting news or articles from Google and other sites about the topic and start a discussion and invite your friends to join it.
6. Follow various people, topics of interest on SocialPulse and increase your visibility and popularity by showing your interest and wisdom.
7. Request to be the manager of existing profiles (you can manage up to 10 profiles) by filling the form ‘Manage This Profile’
8. Accrue points for each of your actions which can be converted to rewards and cash back later
   
   

Creating or Editing of existing profiles

Using your login you can create a new profile about any person or topic or manage the profiles you have created on Socialpulse or for the ones you are granted ‘Manager’ status. Always be logged in with your personal userid and password.

Use your login id and password to edit your own profiles or any other profiles you have created. You can follow any profile and post blogs and articles on its wall.

Editing and enhancing the Images

Click on ‘Images’ and on that page click on the tool to the left of ‘+ New Image) which looks like a magnifying glass

1. Select various sources and get 50 to 100 new images. If you do not get enough good ones then repeat it with other sources to get 50 more images.
2. Sometimes you may not get the right images when the name has an initial or middle name, try removing the initial and middle name or try using different keywords relating the profile name and you will get more images
3. Click on ‘All’ and click on ‘Save’ button – You will get a message on top saying the selected images are saved. Click on the ‘Close’ button
4. Click on the ‘Green Tab’ <category> Images which will open and show all the available images. Go through it and select the bad and non-matching images and delete them.
5. Select a good images and click on the blue ‘bust’ image to set as the profile avatar image. Click on ‘Keep Aspect’ button
6. Now go back to the Images screen by clicking on the ‘Images’ tab on the top
7. Move about 8 good images to the top by dragging them from the top bottom to the top or by dragging the top images to the bottom. When set click on ‘Save Order’ which sill save the order. This is to show the best images on the top and on the 1^st screen. You can go back and edit the images or add new ones from more sources any time.
   
   

B. Now we have to do the same with videos.

1. Try to get 200 videos from the drop down, Select ‘All’ and Save.
2. Sometimes you may not get the right videos when the name has an initial or middle name, try removing the initial and middle name or try using different keywords relating the profile name and you will get more videos
3. If you find some videos that are very good you can click on the ‘embed to wall’ button which will place the video on the wall of the profile which will enhance the profile and attract more visits and participation from other members
   
   

C. You need to edit and enhance the ‘Links’ and ‘Blogs’

1. Try to get 200 links and blogs from the drop down on the edit page.
2. Select ‘All’ and Save.
3. Sometimes you may not get the right links and blog links when the name has an initial or middle name, try removing the initial and middle name or try using different keywords relating the profile name and you will get more links and blogs.
4. If you find some links and blog links that are not related to the profile you can select and delete them. We need to make the profiles the best with the pertinent data
   
   

D. Profile enhancements

1. Once you have done with the images, videos, links and blogs click on the profile name in purple. It will take you to the main page. Under the avatar there is a pencil icon for editing the profile. Click on it and it will open the profile editing area
2. Open a new browser and bring up www.wikipedia.org. Search for the profile keyword and find the right article. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Perfect_Circle
3. Copy all the text parts to a notepad. You can ignore all text on the right and in boxes on the left. Remove references to numbers in parenthesis like this [1] [22].
4. Remove [edit] [citation needed] etc. and create a plain text profile and copy and paste under the name in the profile area
5. At the bottom add this copyright message
